After the game, Rhodes was so injured that he could not even make it to the news conference held after the game.  At the time, Jackie Redmond of WWE spoke out about the matter, stating that Cody's future health was questionable. Rhodes has now given his fans an update on his health by posting on Instagram Stories. “2 days in bed essentially but feeling good and ready for Memphis! Also, since I got through it  in one piece I got to keep the best promise…”

It was the most damaging of the two rivals. Using the ladders, they repeatedly crashed into each other on the steel stairs. Rhodes took hold of Owens and repeatedly slammed his head into the announce desk. Deep slashes were seen on KO's face when he was discovered in a horrifying situation. He also had blood on his nose and forehead.

Rhodes sent his opponent off the edge of a grounded ladder when Owens was about to attempt a package pile driver. The champion was thrashed into the corner by KO's power comb after he recovered. Rhodes transformed it into an Alabama Slam to shatter the ladder while Owens was preparing a package pile driver once more.

The good news is that he's feeling well enough to return to work, despite the ladder emoji being an obvious reference to the cruel torture he received at the hands of Owens. After winning the 30-man Royal Rumble match, Jey Uso punched his ticket to WrestleMania.

Although the Royal Rumble champion has not yet made an official decision on which champion he will face at WrestleMania, it has been revealed that he will be visiting SmackDown this week to speak with Cody Rhodes. The entire world is watching Rhodes as he gets ready for WrestleMania 41. Will he be fully recovered for the year's biggest show in WWE
