Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston listed heels after turning against Big E on WWE Raw

Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston are listed as heels after turning against Big E during the 10-year anniversary of the New Day on Monday Night Raw. The former tag team champions kicked Big E out of the New Day for not being on their side during tough times. They did not care about the former world champion's knee injury.

Xavier and Kofi have not had a good time on the roster in the last few months. During every match of theirs, the duo had arguments and verbally fought against each other. Last week on Raw, they went to the extent of cooking each other by targeting their professional and personal lives.

Many felt either Kofi Kingston could turn against Woods or the other way around. Only a few thought of both turning against Big E. Hence, when it eventually transpired, the fans were in utter shock. They could not believe Big E was kicked out of the faction. In the upcoming weeks, Kofi and Woods are likely to get heat.

Why was the New Day disbanded?

Many wondered why the New Day imploded. In 2021, it was one of the top factions of the company. Big E won the Money in the Bank and cashed it on Bobby Lashley to become the world champion. Xavier Woods won the King of the Ring tournament. Kofi was still at his best.

A couple of years ago, Kofimania took place and the star wrestler became a world champion with a great WrestleMania moment against Daniel Bryan. But Big E's injury changed everything for the New Day. His neck injury has been so bad that Big E hasn't been able to make his return.

His being out of action led to the New Day becoming stale. Day by day, the fans showed the least interest in the screen presence of Woods and Kofi. Hence, there were teases from the creative team about either Woods turning against Kofi or vice versa. Having both Kofi and Woods turn heel might revamp their careers.
