WWE's leadership in the professional wrestling industry is further supported by the talented and seasoned wrestlers on its roster. But a lot of performers have missed a lot of time on TV for a variety of reasons, the most frequent being injuries. Despite the perception that no one is truly retired in the professional wrestling industry until they are wheelchair-bound or worse, numerous people have left the ring and entered "retirement."

As WWE shifts to Netflix and a new era starts for the company. WWE fans will see the old WWE stars taking retirement. In 2025, fans already know that they will be bidding farewell to John Cena as he begins his retirement run, but who else will hang up their boots and move on? 1. John Cena 

John Cena has declared his intention to leave the WWE in 2025. Fans were taken by surprise when Cena revealed the news while attending the WWE Money in the Bank event in Canada. Considered by many to be among the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, Cena has won 16 world titles since entering the WWE in 2001.

2. Randy Orton

In an interview recently, Randy Orton revealed that he recently inked a new five-year WWE contract.Under the terms of the new contract, the veteran will continue to wrestle for the organisation after turning 49. Following his comeback to competition in late 2023, Orton has made it clear that he wants to continue wrestling until he turns 50.

3. AJ Styles

His performance in 2024 demonstrated that AJ Styles remains top-tier in-ring talent. He will probably leave the sport sooner than most people would like, though, considering his longevity, in-ring style, and commitment to leaving a lasting legacy.

4. Jeff Jarrett

Jeff Jarrett is already one of the most well-known figures in AEW, but in 2024 he would attract the greatest pops. Jarrett may be in his fifties, but he is still doing an excellent job. But that won't last long, and if he has a successful retirement run, his career may come to an end in 2025.

5. Rey Mysetrio

Rey Mysterio is still able to perform at a high level, and if there had been any chance of a major retirement match between him and Dominik Mysterio, the Hall of Famer would probably have long since passed. However, he can't keep doing this indefinitely, and because his son is about to become even more famous, a retirement match in 2025 seems like the ideal opportunity for him to finally put his son over and conclude his illustrious career.

6. Adam Copeland

Adam Copeland's 2023 arrival to AEW made it obvious that this would be his final run. He played well in bouts, had a bitter rivalry with Christian Cage, and even won the championship gold once again. Copeland has demonstrated his abilities in the ring after making a remarkable recovery from an injury that kept him out of action for several years. But as time goes on, the prospect of his retiring in 2025 grows increasingly plausible.

7. Goldberg

In 2025, Goldberg, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, will have his final match. During his Saturday, Nov. 2, appearance on ESPN's SEC Nation, Goldberg disclosed that his request for an additional game was approved by Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque.

8. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar hasn't been on TV in a long time and is presently on leave from the WWE. Although The Beast Incarnate has been seen in public on multiple occasions in recent months, his comeback has not yet occurred. Lesnar might, however, make a comeback as a villain and challenge Goldberg to a double retirement match in 2025, according to recent events.

9. Trish Stratus

Trish Stratus keeps hinting that she would rejoin the WWE in 2025.
