The 2024 season of WWE is approaching an end. All the PLEs of the year have been concluded and it is time to look at how they panned. While some of them were extremely brilliant, some were average. Some of the PLEs were hated by the fans due to unpleasing bookings and lack of quality in matches.

The 2024 season started with the Royal Rumble and ended with the Saturday Night's Main Event. WWE registered a record 53 sold-out shows in the year. There were some new additions and old themes introduced to some of the PLEs. 2024 will be remembered by the fans for a lot of things.

It is time to rate every WWE PLE of 2024 excluding those conducted by NXT.

Royal Rumble (2.75/5)

Royal Rumble had a good match card. It started with the Women's Rumble match which was the best of the night. Bayley won the match which was a right booking. A fatal 4-way match was announced between Roman Reigns, LA Knight, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton. It was a forgettable match with a predictable outcome.

Kevin Owens took on Logan Paul for the United States Championship. It ended in disqualification and at best was forgettable. The Men's Royal Rumble did not live up to the expectations either. There were no big surprise entries and the match itself was not that good. Cody Rhodes winning was a good booking.

Elimination Chamber (2.25/5)

Elimination Chamber was probably the worst PLE of the year. The night started with the tag team match between Kabuki Warriors, Indi Hartwell, and Candice LeRae which was forgettable. The Women's Chamber match was the best of the lot. Naomi and Tiffany Stratton showed why they are some of the best talents in the world.

There was a tag team match between Damian Priest and Finn Balor against Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne. It was decent. The Men's Chamber match was mediocre. While Drew McIntyre winning was the right decision, the match was not that good. The Main Event between Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax was surprisingly good.

WrestleMania XL (4/5 for Night One and 4.75/5 for Night Two)

The Night One started with the match between Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch, which was good. What followed was a 6-pack ladder match, which was decent too. Rey Mysterio and Andrade took on Santos Escobar and Dirty Dom, which was not that good. Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso delivered a poor match.

Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi defeated the Damage CTRL trio of Kairi Sane, Asuka, and Dakota Kai, which was not that good either. Sami Zayn beating Gunther was not the right booking. However, their match was great. The Main Event of the night was great as The Rock and Roman Reigns beat Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes clean.

The Night Two of WrestleMania was arguably the best show of the year. Drew McIntyre overcame Seth Rollins in a fast-paced match. Damian Priest cashed in his MITB contract to steal the show. The Street Profits and Bobby Lashley defeated the Final Testament, which was a good match. LA Knight beat AJ Styles in a match which was very good.

Logan Paul, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens had a triple-threat match for the US title. It was great with some exciting moments. Bayley dethroned Iyo Sky in a match that was mostly carried by the latter. The Main Event of the night needs a separate explanation on itself. Cody Rhodes ended Roman Reigns' title reign of 1316 days which was almost like WWE's version of Avengers Endgame.

Backlash (4.5/5)

Backlash was brilliant mainly due to the French crowd. The night started with the street fight between Randy Orton and Kevin Owens against Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa. It was a good match which saw Tonga Loa's debut. The triple-threat match between Bayley, Tiffany Stratton, and Naomi was good too.

Damian Priest vs Jey Uso was decent with the former showing his abilities to be a main event star. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill overcame the Kabuki Warriors to win the tag team titles, which was a decent watch. The main event of the night was brilliant. Both AJ Styles and Cody Rhodes delivered the goods and entertained the fans.

King and Queen of the Ring (2.75/5)

It was a mediocre show overall. The night started with the tag team match between Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair against Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae, which was just forgettable. Liv Morgan dethroned Becky Lynch to become the new world champion. It was not a good match. Sami Zayn beat Chad Gable and Bronon Reed to retain his IC title. It was a good watch.

Nia Jax defeated Lyra Valkyria to become the Queen of the Ring. It was a mediocre match. Gunther beat Randy Orton to become the King of the Ring with a controversial referee decision. The match cooked well till the ending moments. The main event between Cody Rhodes and Logan Paul was very good as well.

Clash at the Castle (3.5/5)

It was a good show. The night started with the match between AJ Styles and Cody Rhodes. Both wrestlers delivered a great performance in the I-Quit match. The Unholy Union became the new tag team champions after beating Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark. It witnessed an unexpected title change.

Sami Zayn took on Chad Gable and successfully defended the IC title. The match between the two was very good. Bayley overcame Piper Niven and defended the title in a forgettable match. The main event between Damian and Drew was brilliant. Both wrestlers put on a good performance. CM Punk's interference led to a great feud.

Money in the Bank (2.5/5)

Money in the Bank gets low ratings due to terrible booking. The night started with the Men's MITB ladder match. It felt like the briefcase was wasted giving it to Drew. The match wasn't brilliant either. Sami Zayn defeated Bron Breakker in the IC title match which was decent. Damian Priest had a match with Seth Rollins for the world title.

During the match, Drew cashed in his MITB contract. Punk cost him the match leading to their Summerslam match. It was a good match. The Women's MITB ladder match was the best of the lot. Many gave a great performance. The Bloodline overcame Solo, Tama, and Jacob Fatu in a match that did not deserve to be the main event.

Summerslam (4/5)

It was probably the best Summerslam in years. The night started with the match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley for the world title. Liv defended her title. What followed was Dirty Dom kissing her in front of Mami. Bron Breakker overcame Sami Zayn to become the new IC Champion in a match that was good.

LA Knight took on Logan Paul for the US title. It was Knight's best performance and he rightfully became the new US Champion. Nia Jax ended Bayley's title reign by beating her at Summerslam. It was not that good a match. Drew McIntyre stayed calm despite Seth Rollins being the special guest referee to claim a win over CM Punk.

Gunther vs Damian Priest was a good match. Finn Balor's betrayal ended the Judgement Day as Gunther became the new world champion. The Main Event match between Solo and Cody was mediocre. However, the interference from the Tonga brothers, Jacob, and the return of Roman Reigns made it an experience to watch.

Bash in Berlin (3.5/5)

Much like Backlash, Bash in Berlin was made special due to the fans. Cody Rhodes overcame KO to start the night, which was a very good match. Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill defeated the Unholy Union to become the new tag team champions. It was not that good a match.

CM Punk claimed a win over McIntyre in a Strap match which was very good. Dirty Dom and Liv Morgan faced Damian Priest and Mami. It was a mediocre match. The main event between Randy and Gunther was brilliant. The Ring General defended the title and Randy showed why he's still one of the best on the roster.

Bad Blood (3.25/5)

Bad Blood could be rated slightly higher sheerly due to how the night started and ended. The Hell in a Cell match between Drew and Punk was the match of the year. It was bloody, hardcore, and had everything one could have expected. Nia defeated Bayley in a forgettable match which saw Tiffany's failed attempt to cash in her contract.

Damian and Finn Balor took on each other in a match which was forgettable as well. Rhea and Liv took on each other with Dom in the shark cage. Morgan defended the title with Raquel Rodriguez's assistance. The tag team match featuring Roman, Cody, Solo, and Jacob was decent. But the ending was brilliant with the return of Jimmy Uso and The Rock.

Crown Jewel (2.75/5)

Crown Jewel started with a match between Old and New Bloodline. It wasn't particularly good. But Sami Zayn's intervention made it interactive. Bianca and Cargill overcame the Damage CTRL duo. Meta Four, and the likes of Chelsea and Piper, which was a decent watch. Seth defeated Reed in a match which was very good.

In the Women's Crown Jewel Championship match, Liv beat Nia. It was not a good watch. LA Knight overcame Andrade and Carmelo Hayes to defend his US title. It was a good match. The main event saw the Men's Crown Jewel Championship match between Cody and Gunther. It was the best match of the night and Cody emerged victorious.

Survivor Series (3.5/5)

The Survivor Series started with the Women's War Games. The buildup to the match was poor and the match did not live up to the expectations either. So many botches made it a mediocre match. What followed was the match between Shinsuke Nakamura and LA Knight. Nakamura upset Knight and became the new US Champion.

Bron Breakker defeated Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus in a triple-threat match which was great. Gunther beat Damian to defend his world title, thanks to Finn's interference. The main event of the night was Men's War Games. It was the best match of the night. All the stars involved in the match delivered a great performance. Not a single return made it slightly underwhelming.

Saturday Night's Main Event (3/5)

The Saturday Night's Main Event started with the match between A-Town Down Under and Motor City Machine Gun, which was decent. Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn delivered a very good match. Liv beat Iyo Sky to defend her world title. Sky carried the match throughout with her in-ring skills.

Gunther won the triple-threat match against Finn and Damian to retain his world title. It was a good match. Chelsea Green became the inaugural Women's United States Champion after beating Michin in a decent match. The main event saw Cody beating KO. After the show-went off-air, KO injured Cody by delivering a banned move and nearly forced Triple H to have a brawl with him.
