WWE WrestleMania 41, Night 1: Complete List of Winners & Match Results

On April 19, 2025, Night 1 of WrestleMania 41 took place in Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium. The night had a stacked lineup, but not so satisfying execution of matches. It would not be wrong to say that the Main Event of the night was so exceptional that the entire show was highly dependent on its execution. Regardless, many wrestlers made their WrestleMania debut and claimed memorable wins.

Two world titles, one each from the Men's and the Women's division, were on the line. The US Championship and the Men's Tag Team Championship were also on the line. There were two non-title matches, one each from the Men's and the Women's divisions, respectively. The Main Event was the ultimate show stealer, as Paul Heyman betrayed both Roman Reigns and CM Punk, and aligned with Seth Rollins.

Gunther vs Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship

Result: Jey Uso forced Gunther to tap out and clinched the World Heavyweight Championship

Jey Uso became just the second wrestler, after Ilja Dragunov, to force Gunther to tap out. The Main Event Jey took revenge against the Ring General for what he did to Jimmy Uso on WWE Raw a few weeks ago. In the process, Jey became the world champion for the first time in his career.

War Raiders vs New Day for the Tag Team Championship

Result: New Day became the new Tag Team Champions

New Day dethroned the War Raiders to become the new Tag Team Champions after a dud match.

Jade Cargill vs Naomi

Result: Jade Cargill claimed the win via pinfall

Jade Cargill stood tall against Naomi, as she claimed a win over her attacker, who costed a few months of her career before the Survivor Series War Games. Cargill beat Naomi via pinfall in her first singles match at WrestleMania.

LA Knight vs Jacob Fatu for the United States Championship

Result: Jacob Fatu became the new US Champion on his WrestleMania debut

Jacob Fatu and LA Knight delivered the second-best match of the night. Fatu emerged victorious on his WrestleMania debut and claimed the United States Championship by beating Knight via pinfall.

El Grande Americano vs Rey Fenix

Result: El Grande Americano beat Rey Fenix

Rey Fenix, who came in as Rey Mysterio's replacement, made his WrestleMania debut just a month after his WWE debut. He went down to El Grande Americano, who cost him the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Tiffany Stratton vs Charlotte Flair for the WWE Women's Championship

Result: Tiffany Stratton successfully defended her title

Tiffany Stratton beat Charlotte Flair after an aggressive faceoff. Despite breaking her tooth, the Centre of the Universe successfully defended her world title and claimed a win on her WrestleMania debut.

Roman Reigns vs CM Punk vs Seth Rollins

Result: Seth Rollins won with the help of Paul Heyman's betrayal of CM Punk and Roman Reigns

The Main Event of the night was worth spending money, as it had great spots, throwbacks to old sequences from the Shield, great storytelling, and an epic ending. Paul Heyman delivered a low blow to both Roman and Punk. The Wiseman aligned with Seth Rollins and helped him to claim a win to end the night on a high.
