The road to WWE WrestleMania 41 is heating up, and news reports suggest that fans may witness a colossal Triple Threat showdown in the main event. According to reports, WWE is considering a match featuring Cody Rhodes, The Rock, and Roman Reigns for the biggest event of the year in 2025.

Originally, WWE had set its sights on a one-on-one clash between Cody Rhodes and The Rock for the headline bout at WrestleMania 41. This rivalry was ignited on the Raw after WrestleMania 40 when The Rock interrupted Cody, signalling the beginning of a new chapter between the two WWE megastars. However, fresh backstage reports now reveal that adding Roman Reigns to the mix for a Triple Threat match is "on the table" and could be the blockbuster finale for WrestleMania 41.

In a recent Q&A on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes noted the possibility of this three-way bout, saying, “My thought is it signifies that's where we're going for WrestleMania. 1-2-3 as in Triple Threat match. I can tell you that's on the table. I don't know for sure if it's been finalized in any way... but that idea has been floated.”

Why triple threat look possible?

Speculation around this potential match has only grown since The Rock made a cryptic ‘1-2-3’ gesture during the final moments of the Bad Blood event, where he was in the ring with both Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. Fans and analysts alike have taken this to be a hint at the explosive showdown that could take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20, 2025, where WrestleMania 41 will be held.

The ongoing saga between Cody Rhodes and The Rock has captivated the WWE universe. Their rivalry escalated when The Rock pinned Cody in a tag team match at WrestleMania 40’s first night. Cody rebounded by defeating Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on the second night of the event, a match that ended with a shocking intervention by The Undertaker, who attacked The Rock.

While Cody Rhodes vs. The Rock remains the likely main event as per Wrestling Observer Radio's Dave Meltzer, the possibility of adding Roman Reigns makes for an intriguing twist that would elevate the stakes to new heights. WrestleMania 41 is shaping up to be a monumental event, with a main event that could showcase three of WWE’s biggest stars in one ring, making it an unforgettable night for wrestling fans worldwide.
