WWE NXT Awards 2024: Oba Femi, Joe Hendry, Roxanne Perez, and Fraxiom claim gold

Oba Femi and Roxanne Perez won the Male and the Female WWE NXT Superstars of the Year 2024 awards. While Joe Hendry's debut won the NXT Moment of the Year award, the match between Oba, Josh Briggs, and Dijak was named the WWE NXT Match of the Year. Nathan Frazer and Axiom had won the Tag team of the Year award.

Oba Femi won the NXT North American Championship early in 2024. He held on to it for over 200 days and became the longest reigning NXT North American Champion. His reign was unparalleled and had some of the best matches, including the triple-threat match against Josh Briggs and Dijak, which was named the Match of the Year.

Oba lost the NXT North American title to Tony D'Angelo. He took some time off and returned with a bang at Halloween Havoc to win the Iron Survivor Match. The match between him, Dijak, and Briggs was brilliant and it had a crazy spot where he lifted both the wrestlers at the same time.

Likewise, the WWE debut of Joe Hendry was named the NXT moment of the year. The TNA star showed up in the Battle Royal to be Trick Williams' Number One contender. He lost it and complained Shawn Michaels of mistreatment. Joe went on to appear on NXT regularly for about 3-4 months.

Roxanne Perez was named the NXT Female Superstar of the Year. Her reign as the NXT Women's Champion has been unprecedented. She won her title in the WrestleMania weekend and hasn't lost a singles match since then. Perez is currently dealing with some of the best talents of the company currently.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom have been named the NXT Tag team of the year. Many have rated them to be the Tag team of the year across Wrestling promotions, which shows how incredible they have been throughout. They are the most dominant tag team in the company currently and the dynamics between the two always make them a watchable tag team.
