WWE comes up with interesting names for The Rock and John Cena's tag team: Reports

Fans are still talking about John Cena's heel turn of a lifetime more than a week after the incredible scenes at WWE's Elimination Chamber PLE were over. Cody Rhodes and The Rock were the main events. The Final Boss set up the encounter between the two, hoping that the American Nightmare would agree to sell his soul and become a corporate champion for TKO. The rumored tag team name between John Cena and The Rock appears to have been brutally struck down.

Former WWE president of creative and longstanding business partner Brian Gewirtz came to Twitter to categorically deny the rumor that WWE is considering adopting "The Rock and Soul Connection" as their official name. John Cena decided to accept an offer that Rhodes had turned down.  In a stunning Hollywood matchup, the Champ turned on Rhodes in the middle of the ring and positioned himself alongside The Rock.

However, they haven't been spotted since a recent report revealed the possible team names for the two of them. Nobody in the WWE Universe could have imagined that Cena would turn heel just ten months before his scheduled retirement.  Fans expected his final chapter to unfold as the rest of his career had since he had been a face and a regular on WWE programming for over 20 years.  The name that the duo may be entering Las Vegas with as they go on the Road to WrestleMania alongside The Rock has drawn attention.

John Cena to face Cody Rhodes for title match at WrestleMania 41

The Rock has returned to the WWE to wreak havoc on the Road to WrestleMania for the second year in a row.  By doing this in 2024, the Final Boss has once again given a WWE Superstar a moment that will change their career, positively impacting Cody Rhodes' fate. To get a title shot against Cody Rhodes, who is the WWE Undisputed Championship, John Cena defeated CM Punk to win the Elimination Chamber, which was also his last chance to get a hold of the WWE title.

WrestleMania 41 will be the last for John Cena as he attempts to win a record-breaking 17^th WWE title, and Cody Rhodes will make it difficult for him when he faces him for the title match.  The WWE Universe is eager for the fight and anticipates an interesting encounter with the two WWE superstars.
