Jim Cornette was asked about Roman Reigns potentially going behind Cody Rhodes for the world title on his return. The popular manager was in a podcast where he answered a lot of questions about WWE and other wrestling companies. Jim said that Roman's value is currently that of a baby face and wanted WWE to pitch in the same regard.
Cornette added that people want to see the Tribal Chief as the baby face. He said that people would not want to see Roman turn against Cody as he felt it would lead to the Bloodline becoming way too powerful. Jim said that such an idea might not work, as the fans are building up for Roman Reigns to be a face on his return.
"Right now, his value is as a babyface because the people want him back so bad and they're setting up that these other people have usurped his throne. But you wouldn't have him come back in an angle specifically to turn on Cody because then if he joined these other motherf****rs then you'd got like six of them," said Cornette.
Problematic with Wyatt Sicks?
Cornette said that it would be similar to Wyatt Sicks who are currently dealing with the numbers game in their favor. Jim felt that Roman received the heat for getting assistance from his family members in his title defenses that made him nearly invincible. He concluded by saying that people would be angry if Roman joined the Bloodline.
Well, then the same problem they're going to have with the Wyatts... It would p*ss people off because Roman had heat, they wanted Roman's reign to come to an end and it did," said Cornette. Summerslam seems to be the ideal location for Roman to return to action. The fans are waiting to see him back in the action.
