Will Drew McIntyre appear on Smackdown to take down CM Punk?

Drew McIntyre might appear on Friday Night Smackdown to attack CM Punk. The Scottish Warrior quit WWE after the star wrestler cost him the world title match against Damian Priest. He was upset with the screw job and blamed Triple H on his way out of the company. Adam Pearce and Hunter could not convince him to leave the company, but there might be a catch.

It might be an attempt for Drew to fool CM Punk. The announcement about the Chicago wrestler going to the blue brand was made by WWE. This was before the 3-time world champion announced his exit from the company. He might have found a chance to execute a surprise attack on the voice of the voiceless. To ensure it was a surprise, Drew could've pulled off a fake exit.

In such a case, Punk might've to pay for his act. He will be in Chicago, his hometown, to announce his match fitness. There would be nothing better for Drew to avenge his loss by taking down Punk in his backyard.
