Will Damian Priest be forced to relinquish his title like Rhea Ripley? (Source: X)
Damian Priest seems to have suffered a serious leg injury. At the 'Clash at the Castle', while the Judgement Day member was in action, he tried to use ropes to attack Drew McIntyre. But it had a nasty ending as Damian's right knee got stuck in between the two aprons in the ringside. For a moment, even Drew seemed to be concerned by it in the ringside.
However, Drew McIntyre continued to attack the Priest. Additionally, the world champion continued wrestling to complete the match. After the match, it seemed as if Damian and McIntyre had something to say to each other. Not many felt the Judgement Day member was severely injured, as he was able to deliver the goods and finish the match to retain the world title.
After the main event match, there was a press conference and Damian appeared without any hassle. But the latest reports about his injury have come out. It is being claimed that Damian Priest has indeed sustained an injury on his right leg. It seems to be not good. The MRI scans on his leg have reported a major dent on his leg. The impact of the injury will be known by tonight.
Judgement Day world champions and injuries
The reports claimed Damian to have dodged a bullet to finish the match. Such seems to be the severity of the injury. By the looks of it, it does seem to be a serious injury. There could also be a case where he might be asked to vacate the title, just like his Judgement Day member Rhea Ripley, who had to relinquish the title due to an injury on the right elbow.
After WrestleMania XL, the Judgement Day had both world titles with them. Only Cody Rhodes and Bayley possessed other world titles. Following the attack from Liv Morgan, Rhea had to vacate the title and disappear from Raw to recover herself. The injury of Priest will be bad news for Raw and the Judgement Day. The fans are hoping his injury is not serious.
