Randy Orton returns and saves Kevin Owens from attack of The Bloodline on Smackdown

Randy Orton returned to Friday Night Smackdown and saved Kevin Owens. After the match against Solo Sikoa in which Owens lost, the Tonga brothers started to attack the former world champion. As it seemed like the torture was getting a bit too much, Randy came to the arena to a loud pop from the fans. The viper was back in the ring for the first time in a month.

After losing to Gunther in the King of the Ring 2024, Orton was not in action. However, the Legend killer came to Owens' assistance and took out the Tonga brothers. Earlier in the night, the Street Profits duo of Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford were taken out by the Tonga brothers. It did not go well with the Smackdown manager Nick Aldis who took a big step.

Aldis barred the Tonga brothers from the ringside for the main event match. Paul Heyman asserted to Solo Sikoa that he had to beat Owens at any cost to prove himself worthy of winning matches without anyone's support. The Enforcer of the Bloodline said that if he lost the match, he would go after Heyman. The Wiseman was shocked and wondered the reason behind it.

Solo Sikoa beats Kevin Owens

During the match in the main event of the night, both wrestlers gave a good performance. Kevin brought some of his iconic moves like the spine burster, powerbomb, and stunner. Solo got his moves like the Samoan Drop and Samoan spike. Kevin Owens had the back of the crowd who wanted him to win. The star wrestler was seconds away from pinning the Head of the Table.

As Owens delivered a stunner and attempted to pin Solo, Heyman forcefully came to Sikoa's assistance. Kevin was angry and Paul tried to explain the motive behind it. As Kevin tried to deliver a powerbomb through the table, Solo delivered a Samoan Spike from behind. He delivered the second Samoan spike in a row and claimed a win over Owens via pinfall in Glasgow.
