In the last few months, Randy Orton and Kevin Owens have shown glimpses of potentially turning against Cody Rhodes. While Randy has been constantly staring at the world title, KO has been constantly teasing an attack on Rhodes. Given the tease from both ends, it will be interesting to see who would be the first to turn against the American Nightmare.
The duo came to Cody's aid at the Clash at the Castle. When Cody defended the title against AJ Styles, the Bloodline showed up only to be confronted by Cody and Owens. Right from that segment, Randy Orton has been eyeing the world title. Things became clear when Cena announced his farewell tour.
Many claimed it was perfect for Randy to turn against Cody which would lead to the Viper becoming the world champion setting his match with John Cena at WrestleMania 41. Even in the latest episode of Smackdown, the Apex Predator had an eye on Cody's title teasing a potential attack.
Will Cody Rhodes turn against Kevin Owens and Randy Orton?
On the other hand, Kevin and Cody have had misunderstandings over each other. KO has teased attacking Cody on at least 3 instances. But the latest might be the most accurate one. He is unhappy with the fact that Cody chose to team up with Roman Reigns to take on the Bloodline at Bad Blood.
There is a good chance of either of them turning against Cody. But there could be another scenario where Cody could turn against both. There is a potential heel turn around the corner. Cody Rhodes might do better as a heel than he is currently doing as a face with a better character.
Randy and KO have been faces for a long time. There is a chance of Randy remaining the face for a bit longer. There could be a case for Kevin turning first as his character could be better in that regard. Randy vs Cody would be a match for a bigger PLE and could hence happen after Cody vs KO.
