WWE's approach to its premium live events is still developing. WWE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed a multi-year deal in 2018 to offer two exclusive live events to the nation each year. WWE placed a greater focus on the foreign market when it returned to performing live in front of audiences in the summer of 2021, following the relaxation of pandemic measures.
B-shows like WWE Backlash were held in Puerto Rico and France, while the "big five" event WWE Money in the Bank was based in Toronto and London. WWE's premium live event schedule has already visited Scotland, Saudi Arabia, and Germany this summer alone.
WWE has said that it will keep hosting its four main events - WWE Royal Rumble, WWE WrestleMania, WWE SummerSlam, and WWE Survivor Series in North America despite its international growth.
WWE Survivor Series 2024 will take place on Saturday, November 30th at Vancouver's Rogers Arena, as revealed in a press statement. WWE Survivor Series: WarGames branding will be present once again. About four months have passed since WWE President Nick Khan first discussed the company's future premium live event plan and said that the "big five" events will only be available in North American regions. With a few exceptions, WWE SummerSlam 2019 and WWE Money in the Bank 2024 both took place in Toronto—WWE Royal Rumble, WWE WrestleMania, WWE SummerSlam, WWE Money in the Bank, and WWE Survivor Series have all become mainstays in the United States.
For the third consecutive year, Survivor Series will include WarGames
WWE Survivor Series 2024 will be the event's third consecutive year including WarGames contests. Current WWE storylines point to a major double steel cage match at the event, with many speculating that another Bloodline Civil War will take place in the famous WCW stipulation. Roman Reigns is slated to return to WWE SummerSlam to start a feud with The Bloodline's new leader, Solo Sikoa, bringing his old crew of himself and The Usos to face Sikoa's stable, which includes Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.
