The Rock shared beer with Cody Rhodes backstage on WWE Raw on Netflix. The duo overcame their past in doing so. The Final Boss hugged Roman Reigns, and Solo Sikoa, and congratulated them on delivering a great performance at the Tribal Combat. He left the arena after announcing his presence on NXT later this week.
The Rock returned for the first time since Bad Blood where he sent a cryptic message to Cody, Roman, and Jimmy Uso. Fans thought he would return to WWE Raw and throw himself into the Bloodline Civil War scenario. However, nothing as such happened. The exact opposite of what fans expected happened on the night.

The People's Champ gave Cody his flowers for carrying the company on his shoulders. He also acknowledged Roman as the Original Tribal Chief and crowned him with Ula Fala after the star wrestler overcame Solo Sikoa in the Tribal Combat. After the match, The Rock met Solo and Roman backstage and congratulated them for delivering a great match.
The Rock to show up on NXT
The Final Boss had a conversation with many wrestlers backstage on Raw like Sami Zayn, Jimmy Uso, and Drew McIntyre before having a friendly conversation with Cody. He also met Travis Scott and Nick Khan. The star wrestler wished to have a car like Travis and a bus like Rhodes.
Just when The Rock was about to move out of the arena, he saw Cody, got the beer from his car, and shared it with the American Nightmare. The duo had a conversation with each other about their family, their past, and how the company is heading with Cody as the face.
The duo drank beer and hugged each other to put the past behind them. After what happened between them in the leadup to WrestleMania XL, fans felt it was unexpected and did not make sense. Before moving out of the arena, The Final Boss made an announcement that he would be on NXT later this week.
