On WWE SmackDown, Jacob Fatu, the newest member of the Bloodline, made a comeback and led an assault on Roman Reigns. On August 16, about two weeks after Reigns made his historic comeback at WWE SummerSlam 2024, the Bloodline brutalized the former Undisputed Champion. Fatu slapped Reigns on the turnbuckle to start the video. Then he rolled Roman Reigns out of the ring, leaving Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa waiting.
Roman Reigns was then selected by the three to launch a triple powerbomb onto the announcers' table. "Jacob Fatu destroys Roman Reigns, and The Bloodline sends him to the table." WWE SmackDown's most recent edition was broadcast live from Orlando, Florida's Kia Center. Solo Sikoa requested recognition from the Florida audience during an in-ring section of the program, but he was jeered.

Solo Sikoa yelled at Roman Reigns, demanding that the former champion return the Tribal Chief necklace to him. Reigns emerged and stepped into the ring to give Sikoa a hard time. Then he and Sikoa traded blows. After dodging a Samoan Spike, he punched Sikoa like Superman. Reigns was taken aback by the unexpected return of Jacob Fatu as he was picking up the award.
Solo Sikoa believes Roman Reigns has dishonoured the Samoan name
After WrestleMania 40, a feud between Roman Reigns and The Bloodline started to develop. After Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Championship at the Show of the Shows, Reigns missed all live television until SummerSlam. During that time, Solo Sikoa became the new Tribal Chief and ousted Reigns, seizing control of The Bloodline.
In addition, he gave the group more enforcers in the form of Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. Sikoa took control of the situation because of Reigns' defeat at WrestleMania 40. He believed that by giving Rhodes the championship, Reigns had dishonoured the Samoan name. WWE is currently getting closer to Bash at Berlin, a new high-end live event in Germany. The promotion is keen to capitalize on the rivalry between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa by matching them up in a SummerSlam contest.
