Roman Reigns has failed to become the Tribal Chief of the Bloodline in two consecutive weeks. The OTC was denied touching the Ula Fala on his return to Smackdown as Tama Tonga got hold of it and gave it to Solo Sikoa. While he wore it momentarily in the latest episode, Jacob Fatu destroyed the moment by stealing it away followed by an attack.

There seems to be a reason behind Roman Reigns not being able to reclaim his lost throne easily. The big reason behind it is the elevation of the new Bloodline. Everything will head into a Bloodline Civil War. To make the feud look strong, there is a need to make the opponents of Reigns strong. For that to happen, the new Bloodline must look strong.

That's where Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa come into the picture. The duo has been the saving grace of the new faction and seems to be the only two to challenge someone like Roman. Things could change when Zilla Fatu joins the faction. But to keep the momentum of Solo going, there needs to be segments where Roman must be challenged.

Even battles in the Bloodline Civil War so far

The return of Roman has been a rollercoaster of a journey in terms of the outcome of each segment. At SummerSlam, Roman had the last laugh by costing Solo the title. On his return to Smackdown, Roman tried to reclaim the throne but Solo escaped leading to a tie. In the latest episode, the new Bloodline under Solo Sikoa had the last laugh.

So far, it has been even Stevens which shows that the story is to try and make the faceoff look as neutral as possible. In the next few days, Roman could further turn vulnerable to give the new Bloodline a bit of an upper hand. But that would only lead to the return of Jimmy Uso and the Wiseman. That way, both sides of the Bloodline would have enough star power on their end.
