WATCH: Roman Reigns getting back in shape ahead of his return in WWE

A video of Roman Reigns doing a workout in the gym is getting viral on social media. The same video is shared by Kai Greene, who is an actor and American bodybuilder. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns has taken a break from WWE. 

This comes after Roman Reigns lost his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes on Night Two of WrestleMania 40. For a record-breaking 1,316 days, the 39-year-old held the Undisputed WWE Championship. Since then, the Tribal Chief went on break. While he is on break he is also working on his new film. Although the exact date of Reigns' comeback to the ring is unknown, a video of his arduous training session gives some optimism.

As the video goes viral, some WWE fans state that he is going to get back the ring ahead of the Stamford-based promotion. However, the event is yet unknown when it is going to take place. Since The Tribal Chief is being hyped for the final episode of SmackDown before the SummerSlam 2024 Premium Live Event, however, it is unclear whether he will return before then.

Roman Reigns to return by SummerSlam?

Following Roman Reigns' departure from the WWE at WrestleMania 40 in the spring, the Island of Relevancy has vanished from existence. The latest rumour is that he will make a comeback for a match at SummerSlam. In a bid to replace Roman Reigns as Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa has brought "MFT" Tama Tonga into The Bloodline, as seen on the SmackDown episode that aired following WrestleMania 40. 

Roman Reigns is scheduled to make a comeback to regain his title of Head of the Table. After that, he will engage in a feud with Sikoa that will ultimately lead to a SummerSlam match. He is therefore in a good position to make an appearance on SmackDown before the main event of the summer. This advertisement is simply one more indication that he will return to compete in the August PLE after his prolonged hiatus ends in the summer.
