R Truth paid tribute to John Cena with 5 moves of doom on Carmelo Hayes on WWE Smackdown. The star wrestler pulled off the moves of his Childhood hero Cena but could not deliver an Attitude Adjustment. The Miz and Carmelo Hayes had the last laugh as they claimed a win over LA Knight and Truth in the tag team match.

Backstage on WWE Smackdown, Truth confronted Hayes and went back and forth about their conversation last week. The Miz popped out of nowhere and claimed he was Carmelo's teammate. He also asked R Truth about his tag team partner. The veteran claimed he would let it know in the arena.

Truth unveiled Knight as his partner and mistakenly called him New Orleans' own. The tag team was entertaining as Truth was at his funny best. The match worked around his comedy although Knight and Hayes had their moments. In the end, Truth and Knight lost to The Miz and Hayes in the tag team match.
Shinsuke Nakamura attacks LA Knight on WWE Smackdown
There were some top funny spots in the match including Truth pulling off a fake pinfall against Hayes. But the highlight of the night was Truth paying tribute to Cena with the 5 moves of doom. The Miz and Carmelo indeed claimed a win. But it was not possible without the interference from Shinsuke Nakamura.
Truth and Knight seemed to have a huge upper hand at one point in the match. Just when Truth went for the AA, Hayes escaped and saved himself and the match. The momentum changed from that point of the match. As Knight tried to take on Melo and The Miz, Nakamura attacked him out of nowhere.
As the referee was dealing with Truth and The Miz in the ring, he did not observe it. Melo and Miz took advantage of Nakamura's attack and claimed a win for themselves. Nakamura's attack could further force Knight to go after him and the Unites States Championship. The duo could face each other at WrestleMania 41.
