WATCH: R Truth confuses Jey Uso to be a King of the Ring on WWE Smackdown

R Truth had yet another moment of confusion as he claimed Jey Uso to be a King of the Ring. Jey had to remind Truth that he was the Royal Rumble winner, not the King of the Ring. Jey asked Truth to look after Akira Tozawa who was dropped on the floor by the latter while meeting the former.

The Main Event Jey started WWE Smackdown with a fiery entrance. Fans yeeted all over and asked the entrance theme to be played again even after it got finished. As the star wrestler spoke about his Royal Rumble win, fans chanted "You Deserve it." Cody Rhodes entered the arena and congratulated Jey for his massive win.

Further in the segment, Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga appeared to take a dig at Cody and Jey. It led to a brawl between all the sides which led to the Main Event of the night. At the other end, Akira Tozawa had a match with Carmelo Hayes. The latter knocked the former during the Royal Rumble entrance.

R Truth confuses Jey Uso to be a King of the Ring

Tozawa lost an opportunity to headline WrestleMania due to Carmelo's attack which led to their match on WWE Smackdown. While Hayes squashed the Alpha Academy member, R Truth tried to keep his spirits high backstage on Smackdown. The star wrestler tried to motivate Akira with a John Cena message.

Truth asked Tozawa to never give up and learn how to stay motivated. Truth saw Jey and soon dropped Akira to the floor. The star wrestler went to the Bloodline star and said he always thought of him as a King. Truth was happy for Jey's King of the Ring win.

The younger Uso corrected Truth by saying he was not the King of the Ring but a Royal Rumble winner. Jey further asked Truth to look after Tozawa who had fallen on the floor. The veteran jokingly said he had yeeted upon himself. Jey tried his best to control laughter in the funny backstage segment.
