Nick Aldis confirmed with Cody Rhodes that he was snubbed out of the 6-man tag team match on WWE Smackdown. As Rhodes asked how it was possible when his match was advertised, the Smackdown GM claimed it was out of his hands as the orders came from the Final Boss. He claimed The Rock wanted to meet Cody later in the night.

Backstage before the start of WWE Smackdown, Cody showed up in the locker room. Aldis went straight to him and informed his snub from the 6-man tag team match. As Rhodes asked why, Aldis claimed it was out of his hands. The American Nightmare wondered how it was not possible after being advertised.

The Undisputed WWE Champion wanted to know who could help them to get the match going. Aldis said there was none he or Cody could call. As Aldis said "If you smell what I'm cooking," Rhodes got his point. Aldis confirmed that the orders came from the Final Boss and concluded by saying The Rock wanted to see Cody.

Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu to take on Damian Priest and Braun Strowman on WWE Smackdown

Cody was set to be a part of the 6-man tag team match teaming up with Damian Priest and Braun Strowman against Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Solo Sikoa. Last week on Smackdown, Solo attacked Priest and Strowman to help Fatu claim a win in his triple-threat Elimination Chamber Qualifier match.

Cody came as an equalizer and took out Solo and Fatu. Hence, a 6-man tag team match was set for the blue brand. However, the 6-man tag team match was reduced to a 4-man tag team match. Hence, a discussion took place in the Bloodline 2.0 campaign about participation.

Solo said his accidental attack on Tama Tonga last week was accidental. Jacob agreed and said Solo would not be in the arena if it was intentional. Solo said they were all on the same page and wanted Tonga and Fatu to take on Priest and Strowman. However, Fatu said he and Solo would team up against Damian and Braun.
