WATCH: Penta's WWE debut teased on Monday Night Raw

Penta's WWE debut was teased on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. The former AEW Superstar's mask was featured in a 10-second promo which hinted at him showing up in the Stamford-based company soon. Dakota Kai and Lyra Valkyria progressed to the final of the Women's Intercontinental Championship bout by beating Zoey Stark and Iyo Sky respectively.

WWE released a promo where Penta's mask elements were revealed one by one. The video has gone viral on social media and the fans have a mixed opinion. While many are happy for the wrestler, some felt that anyone who goes from AEW to WWE is liked by the fans of the Stamford-based company.

When Penta was in AEW, his booking was questioned and complained by the fans. The talented wrestler was eventually released by Tony Khan which paved a way for his WWE entry. He has signed a contract with WWE and is likely to make his debut on Raw's Netflix Premiere at the start of 2025.

Dakota Kai vs Lyra Valkyria for the Women's Intercontinental Championship

On Raw, there were two semifinal matches to qualify for the final of the Women's Intercontinental Championship. While Dakota Kai took on Zoey Stark, Iyo Sky was up against Lyra Valkyria. A backstage segment featuring Damage CTRL saw Iyo and Kai hoping for the IC title to be with their faction.

However, it turned out to be half successful. While Kai entered the final by beating Stark, Iyo went down to Lyra in one of the best matches of the month. Dakota overcame the challenge of Zoey and got a step closer to scripting history. She will be the only Damage CTRL member in the Women's IC title final.

Iyo and Lyra put on a show and the fans loved it. No wrestler seemed to have an upper hand and both went for the kill. In the end, Valkyria cleverly reversed Iyo and claimed a win via pinfall. While it was a moment of ecstasy for the emerging star, Sky endured agony.
