Mercedes Mone will not wait for her next Championship challenger after winning the TBS Championship at Double or Nothing. On AEW Dynamite she has got her opponent. Earlier this year, Mercedes Mone came to know that she was attacked by Skye Blue, who was a contender for the TBS Championship. In the match, Mercedes Mone won and will get her next challenge against Stephanie Vaquer in New Japan Strong Women’s Champion.

Mercedes Mone made a counterattack when Skye was on the attack but she counter-rolled Skype for a while. An pushed by an arm and later dropkick she was pinned down fast. After Mone used a hurricanrana to propel Blue to the opposite side of the ring, a Meteora struck and forced Blue to the ground. Mone reached for a more pin, but Blue ejected.

Meanwhile, Skye Blue turned down the situation and knocked her in feet and Blue then slammed into the turnbuckle to repay the favour. Blue continued to be aggressive, giving Mone a forearm strike to the back before securing a grip to keep her down. Though Blue countered with a dropkick of her own that stunned the Champ, Mone was able to hit with a dropkick to the side of the head.

They will face each other at the Forbidden Door

Following a try to pin Mone kicked it out. With a knee attack and a backstabber into a cover, Mone was able to gain some momentum, but Blue kicked out of the pin. After a ferocious kick to the head from Blue, Mone made a U-turn and sent the challenger reeling. Blue attempted to pin Mone after slamming him face-first to the mat, but Mone was able to get out from under the cover.

The location for it to happen is undoubtedly Forbidden Door, and with that pay-per-view not long away, this match will most likely be confirmed sooner rather than later. It isn't official yet, but perhaps that will change soon. As for Forbidden Door, the future seems promising for the pay-per-view, which has previously been constrained in certain respects owing to terrible circumstances.
