Lyra Valkyria scripted history as she became the first Women's Intercontinental Champion after beating Damage Control's Dakota Kai on WWE Raw on Netflix. Lyra delivered a campana and pinned Kai to claim a win. Dakota was happy for her opponent and shared a hug to congratulate Lyra's win despite losing the title to the emerging star.

Lyra overcame two Damage Control stars to become the Women's IC Champion. In the semifinal of the qualifying matches, Lyra overcame the mighty Iyo Sky to enter the final. On the other hand, Dakota entered the final after beating Pure Fusion Collective's Zoey Stark. Lyra and Kai faced each other in the final and delivered a banger.

Fans were invested in the match right from the start. The duo exchanged some great moves, and the fans got behind both of them. The crowd supported both wrestlers who went against each other by giving them everything. For the first few minutes, Dakota dominated the match. But Lyra Valkyria fought hard and returned with a bang.

Fane enjoyed the match and rooted for them to have a good finish. Kai gained momentum and tried to capitalise on it. She was half successful in doing so. Dakota delivered Kaio Driver and TTYL to Lyra. However, Valkyria rolled out of the ring and saved herself from a pinfall.

She was able to get some rest in the process and recollected herself to go after Kai. As the latter went down the ring and tried to get Valkyria back into the ring, Lyra used it to her advantage and delivered a Northern Lights Suplex. Fans went crazy for the move.

Lyra forced Dakota to the ring, delivered a Campana, and pinned Kai to claim a win. In the process, she became the inaugural Women's Intercontinental Champion. Adam Pearce personally came out of his office and crowned Lyra with the title. Despite losing the match, Dakota made sure her opponent's win was celebrated as she congratulated Lyra for her win.
