As they train in "soft ground wrestling" at the Bumbash Wrestling Academy in the town of Mukono, around 30 kilometres west of the capital Kampala, young barefoot Ugandans hope their talents will lead to fame and glory. The opponent tosses the young Ugandan woman facedown into a mud hole surrounded by two thin yellow ropes and bamboo poles.

To the joy and applause of numerous other wrestlers observing from the sides of the flimsy ring, she gains momentum again and defeats her opponent with a single swipe at her feet. The sport imitates the American company World Wrestling Entertainment or WWE.  It seems like WWE but this is a better version as the matches are announced using the style of the American show and has the referee wearing a bold black and white striped top.

A homemade ladder composed of a wooden plank and two sticks is utilized in one corner of the ring to help people get higher and execute amazing leaps like the ones made famous by WWE's The Undertaker, John Cena, and Randy Orton. Many moves like the RKO of Randy Orton, Super Kick of Shawn Michales and many other moves were also performed in the 30-men battle royal elimination match at Softground Uganda.

To break down barriers between genders in the male-dominated sport of professional wrestling, the 25-year-old former nursing student and admirer of Bianca Belair expressed her desire to join the WWE. They practice chokeslam, powerbomb, and other throwing techniques while pumping weights in the scorching sun, with only a layer of mud to cushion their heavy falls.

Cody Rhodes won Royal Rumble twice

Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes has won the Royal Rumble 2024 after defeating CM Punk as both were only left alone in the ring. Cody Rhodes managed to win twice Royal Rumble as he won it in 2023. In 2023 Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther. Royal Rumble 2025 will be held in Indianapolis and will be the first stop towards the biggest event WWE WrestleMania 41.
