There is no doubt that the WWE is still currently the best wrestling show in the world and has been having some great storylines as well. There is barely any wrestling organization that is going head-to-head with the company, but the wrestling organization that is currently having a bit of a rivalry is the AEW, which also features some big stars in the mix. However, it still seems like the WWE is still winning this rivalry in terms of television.

Some wrestlers are making their way out of AEW and going on to join the WWE and have gone on to become big superstars. One of the major examples is The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes, who was one of the founders of the AEW, but now has quit and come back to the WWE and is joining a lot of success as the undisputed universal champion and the face of the entire company. There is no doubt that this is one of the best years in wrestling for Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes and the iconic backstage segment

We all have to remember that Cody is not the only ex-AEW wrestler to feature in the WWE as we have now got recent wrestlers such as Shawn Spears, Ethan Page, and Lexis King who have made their way into the WWE NXT brand after leaving AEW. These three also had a backstage segment with the undisputed champion as they all said that they would be featuring in the battle royale. To this Cody Rhodes had a bit of a pause and delivered an iconic line saying " Seems like you guys are in a good place". This line itself caught the fans by surprise.

Watch the video below-

This line might have been said suggesting something else, but the fans have concluded that the American Nightmare was saying this concerning how they were treated by AEW. Knowing Cody Rhodes and his history with the company it does seem like he was insinuating that the three were in a good place and saying that the WWE will treat them better as wrestling talents.
