CM Punk has been involved in a variety of scenarios since his return to WWE, and he won't be missing NXT's October 1 premiere in Chicago. We now know his role, and he will be there for their CW premiere. The WWE NXT October 1 broadcast will take place in Chicago, and the September 17 WWE NXT closing part was really exciting.
This week, CM Punk made an appearance on NXT and interfered in the NXT Women's Title match that was scheduled to take place in Chicago. Then, on October 1, he appeared during the signing of the contracts for the NXT Title bout between Trick Williams and "All Ego" Ethan Page.
When Punk made an appearance on the September 17 show, Roxanne Perez cut him off while he was expressing an idea for his part. NXT Champion Ethan Page and Trick Williams signed the contract for their championship bout on the October 1st NXT edition later in the evening.

CM Punk will be the match's official for Ethan Page and Trick Williams
Then, CM Punk emerged to declare that he was the perfect referee for the event since it was so large-scale. He gave Page and Trick Williams the go-ahead to fight, and they did. Officials found it difficult to keep them apart after NXT ended. As CM Punk is the match's official, he declared that All Ego and Trick may begin fighting immediately. Punk especially relished it when the supporters screamed "Let Them Fight," as the two began to tear each other apart.
Williams and Ethan Page then seem to sign the agreement for their title fight. Trick states that Pete Dunne is still obviously a Butch after last week's events, prior to Page's appearance. Page begins to boast about his status as the NXT Champion and disparage Pete Dunne. Starting with the NXT Title, he has the receipts to prove he is Trick's kryptonite.
