CM Punk explained why he did not hate Seth Rollins on WWE Raw. The star wrestler claimed that Seth wanted Punk to train him for free to be the best in the world. Punk claimed that he achieved everything Seth did before him. CM Punk claimed to be uninterested in facing Rollins but ready for the challenges thrown at him.
Punk had a backstage interview with Jackie Redmond. The host initially asked him about the favor Paul Heyman owes him. Punk claimed it to be something personal and stayed away from letting it know at this point. He felt the time would come when he would ask for the favor. He was then asked about Seth.

The second city saint said, unlike Seth Rollins, that he never hated the former Shield member. The voice of the voiceless claimed that when Seth was 16 years old, he had come to him asking for a favor to train him to be the best wrestler in the world for free.

Punk was confused about Seth's hate for him. He was ready for the fight if Rollins was up for it. Punk claimed Seth wanted to be the best in the world on everyone's list. But he reminded the former Shield member of the time when he was about to be fired from the company.
Punk felt if he had to live under his shadow, he would be angry too. He claimed Seth was talented, a multiple-time champion, and a Money in the Bank winner, and inserted a fact. Punk claimed he did everything before Rollins. Punk appreciated Seth for filling his shoes in his absence. He concluded saying it was time for the star to dominate.
