Drew McIntyre returned to Monday Night Raw for the first time since Bad Blood and delivered a Claymore to Sami Zayn who lost his match with Seth Rollins. There were tensions between Seth and Sami after Jey Uso was attacked backstage by an undisclosed person. While Seth denied it to be him and picked up a win, Drew attacked Sami.
Earlier in the night, Seth had a segment with Punk. The visionary wanted to face the second city saint and a brawl broke out. Jey Uso and Sami came out to separate them. Seth took a jibe at Jey and Sami for teaming up with Roman Reigns for the War Games who had not even apologized for them.

Sami took a dig at Seth saying he was the one responsible for the OTC to become the monster he was. Seth replied saying he hit the OTC with a steel chair as well which led to their main event match. Before the match could start, Jey was attacked by someone.
Drew McIntyre returns to WWE Raw and attacks Sami Zayn
Sami got angry and thought Seth was the one behind it. During their match, Zayn questioned Rollins about his move. The former Shield member denied the allegations and said he had no reason to attack Jey. Zayn dropped the steel chair he got to hit Seth.
But the revolutionary took advantage of the situation and pinned Sami to claim a win. After the match, the revolutionary reiterated the fact that he wasn't the one behind Jey's attack. Sami kept on thinking who else could it have been? He then turned around and Drew delivered him a Claymore out of nowhere.
For the first time since an epic Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood against Punk, the Scottish Warrior returned to the red brand. It seemed like he was against those who sided with the second city saint. An explanation for Drew's attack on Sami and the doubts if he attacked Jey would be cleared in the upcoming weeks on Raw.
