'Wanna thank you for trusting and choosing' - Rey Mysterio pens down emotional message for WWE Hall of Famer

Rey Mysterio recently expressed his thoughts to another WWE Hall of Famer in a touching and heartfelt speech. Recently, the two WWE stars got together. One of the greatest legends in WWE is Mysterio. His in-ring talents have captured the audience's attention despite his small size. The constant underdog, he has defeated opponents far bigger than himself by doing whatever it takes to win. He has since messaged Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle received a message from Rey Mysterio with a photo of the two of them. 

He praised him and expressed his satisfaction that Kurt Angle had trusted him enough to pick him as his opponent to begin his first-ever WWE pay-per-view after what transpired at SummerSlam 2002. He continued by saying that they had turned that enchantment into a friendship that has endured to this day. He ended by expressing his love and honour for Kurt Angle.

Even though Rey Mysterio is nearing the twilight of his career, he is still incredibly fast in the ring. His son, Dominick Mysterio, presents a challenge, though, that he must conquer. Although they have traded victories and defeats, the two have continued to be at odds.

The two have engaged in a number of confrontations during their intermittent animosity. WWE legend Rey Mysterio recently made a visit at the 2024 ComplexCon, which took place in Las Vegas, USA. Mysterio was joined by CM Punk, who shared the booth at the "Culture Kings x Loiter RAW is WAR."
