Vince McMahon gave his first interview since his mention in the Janel Grant Lawsuit. The former WWE Chairman was unhappy with the fact that Hulk Hogan was booed out of the arena by the fans during Raw's Netflix Premiere. Mr.McMahon claimed he would have executed the segment differently to ensure Hulk's good reception.

In an interview with TMZ, Vince gave Hogan his flowers as a wrestler and claimed him to be a real-life superhero. Mr.McMahon felt WWE owed him something for what he had done with the company. He claimed to have gotten angry when the fans booed him and added that something like that would not have happened if he were in charge.

"I was standing up to his speeches, a real-time superhero. Just walking out there, I said to myself, 'he deserves something very, very special more than anyone,' if they owe him. Okay, here comes Hulk Hogan, and the fans boo him. I was angry. That's not the way I would have done it. He deserved much more," said Vince in the interview.

McMahon spoke highly of Hogan in the interview and regarded him as the obvious candidate to take wrestling forward in the 1980s and the 1990s. He claimed Hulk was the ultimate larger-than-life character in the wrestling community back in time.

Vince was upset that he was not invited to be a part of Hogan's 10-bell salute. Given the general perspective that Hulk was a racist, Vince gave his bit on the issue. He regarded Hogan as not a racist and felt that the 2-time Hall of Famer had made racist comments at times and paid for it, but wasn't an outright racist.
