For every WWE wrestler one of the greatest accomplishments is to become part of WrestleMania.  In addition to providing career boosts, memorable moments, and exposure, WrestleMania matches are important to many WWE stars. Many iconic moments can be created even outside of the main event at WrestleMania.

Not everyone has their moments of WrestleMania.  Many celebrities wait for their opportunity to perform on the biggest stage in the WWE for the entirety of their lives. Even while winning is always good, you don't need to win to have a moment.

Here are the top five wrestlers who never won a WrestleMania match

5. Sid Eudy

Sid faced two legends at WrestleMania, but he lost both of his matches. At WrestleMania VIII on April 5, 1992, Sid Justice and Hulk Hogan engaged in a traditional, brutal match. Sid was outstanding, but his disqualification cost him.  The Undertaker challenged Sycho Sid to a No Disqualification battle for the WWE Title on March 23, 1997, during WrestleMania 13. The Deadman used the Tombstone Piledriver to win his sixth consecutive WrestleMania match after Bret Hart assaulted Sid with a steel chair.

4. Bob Backlund

Most people know Bob Backlund for his incredible 2135-day reign as the World Heavyweight Champion, which was the second-longest in WWE history. In less than four minutes, Bob Backlund was defeated by Razor Ramon at WrestleMania IX.  Roddy Piper served as the special referee for the I Quit Match at WrestleMania XI when Backlund also lost to The Hitman Bret Hart. It was entertaining to watch, as Piper kept asking both competitors, "What do you say?"  Despite being 46 years old at the time, Backlund put on a strong performance.

3. MVP

Another WWE talent who was never given the chance to reach his full potential was MVP.  Montel Vontavious Porter made four unsuccessful tries to win at WrestleMania.  In 2007, he faced Chris Benoit in his first Mania match.  In the spring of 2007, the two developed a strong rivalry on SmackDown over the United States Championship, which culminated at WrestleMania 23.  Benoit won that evening with a diving headbutt.  MVP took part in Money in the Bank Ladder bouts in the ensuing three years. Since Jack Swagger won in 2010 and CM Punk won in 2008 and 2009, he never really had a chance to win.

2. Paul Orndorff

Early on in the Golden Era of WWE, Paul Orndorff, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, was frequently matched against their superhero, Hulk Hogan. Though he departed the company in 1988, it seems sense that he was unable to win a match at WrestleMania. The first-ever WrestleMania PPV pitted "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff against Hulk Hogan and Mr. T alongside "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.  Thirteen minutes later, Hogan and Mr. T had won the game. Orndorff had another chance at WrestleMania II, but the fight ended in a double count-out. He fought The Magnificent Muraco.

1. Goldust

Goldust who is known as Dustin Rhodes in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has the worst record in WrestleMania, history. He has lost seven back-to-back matches. He made his Mania debut at WrestleMania XII, as he engaged in a backlot brawl with Roddy Piper in Hollywood.  Despite being more of an angle than a contest, the game finished in a draw.  After losing to Road Dogg, Triple H, and Marc Mero & Sable after his debut, and drawing with Maven, Goldust left WrestleMania. Despite losing, Goldust entertained the spectators as he was supposed to.
