When Toni Storm lost her championship at All In 2024, she fled the building right away. Her latest interview disclosed the reason for her decision. The Timeless actress lost the AEW Women's World Championship match at All In in London, England, to Mariah May, a previous pupil. Following her victory in the 2024 Owen Hart Cup earlier this year, the 26-year-old abandoned Storm.

Fans witnessed the Storm star leave Wembley Stadium right away after the game. She is in Australia, promoting the AEW Grand Slam 2025, which is scheduled to take place at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Queensland, which is why she isn't shown on TV.

Storm talked about leaving Wembley Stadium following her encounter with May in an interview with Downunder The Ring. The former Women's World Champion claimed she left the arena right away to search for Wendi Richter, the WWE Hall of Famer, who she had heard was in Australia, following the match.

"Is she [Richter] here? She's here, isn't she? Are you messing around with me? You are. She's around here somewhere, I know it. I can smell that bi**h. She's been ducking and dodging me for years. I came directly [to Australia] to find her. That's why I left. I had to immediately leave Wembley Stadium and I came here because I heard the rumors. She's hiding around here somewhere, isn't she?", as per Sportskeeda.

Toni Storm retain her title against Riho

Toni Storm confronted Wendi Ritcher during the 2023 AEW Worlds End post-show media scrum. To further her goal of destroying her, she even requested Tony Khan to hire her to AEW.
