The two biggest organizations in North America, AEW and WWE, will square off once again on Friday, September 6. "AEW Collision" and "WWE SmackDown" will air at the same time at 8 p.m. ET. This is because All Out, AEW's yearly pay-per-view event will be shown live from Chicago on Saturday, September 7.

AEW Collision, which airs live on TNT from the NOW Arena in Chicago, will be a part of a 3.5-hour program promoting All Out, while WWE SmackDown, which airs live on FOX from Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, this week, will be the fallout episode from Bash in Berlin. AEW Rampage at 10 p.m. ET and "Countdown to All Out" at 11 p.m. ET will air after "Collision".

Meanwhile, after almost five months away from the organization, Giovanni Vinci will return to in-ring action on SmackDown next week, according to confirmation from WWE executives. There will also be an eight-man tag match between DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa), The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) and The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and WWE Tag Team Champions Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa).

Before WWE SmackDown makes its USA Network debut on September 13, this will be the final episode on FOX. Five matches, including the main event with Bryan Danielson defending the AEW World Championship versus current TNT Champion Jack Perry, have been announced thus far at All Out. Last Sunday at All In, Danielson was able to defeat the odds to win the title in a career vs title battle against Swerve Strickland, the previous champion.

WWE SmackDown's final edition to air on FOX

On September 6, AEW Collision will broadcast live from NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois, as part of a go-home episode for their All Out: Chicago 2024 pay-per-view event that will also take place there and AEW Rampage will premiere right now.

When WWE SmackDown takes the stage at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on September 6, it will air that same night at the same time. This will be WWE SmackDown's final edition to air on FOX before it transfers to the USA Network on September 23.
