WATCH: WWE Hall of Famer Kane speaks about contesting US Presidential election

Former WWE Champion and hall of famer Glenn Jacobs better known as Kane has made a massive statement about contesting the upcoming Presidential elections. Kane has become a full-time politician after winding down his wrestling career. He is currently serving as the mayor of Knox County. 

During his appearance on the maintain with Tyrus show, Kane said “No, it’s not. I have no desire to go to Washington, DC. I think that there are a lot of things that can be done at the local and state level, especially at the state level. Say you look at Tennessee and Tennessee has set itself apart from a lot of other states”

Kane was one of the most loved characters ever since his debut in 1997. For the next two decades, Glenn Jacobs along with his wrestling storyline brother the Undertaker was one of the biggest names. The two also had a hugely successful tag team called the Brothers of Destruction. 

Kane set to contest US Presidential elections?

Speaking on the Maintaining with Tyrus show, the WWE Hall of Famer Kane also said “We’ve been like second GDP growth for many years. We had positive growth through the pandemic. I think we’re the only state that did that. That’s a fact.”

The former WWE legend went on to say “But in Washington, man, it’s just, there’s just so many things going on up there, and it really is a swamp. Good people go in, and they get frustrated because they can’t change, or in some cases, they just throw up their hands and leave, or sometimes they, unfortunately, become part of the machine because that’s the only way to survive”

“So I really think that a lot of changes can be made, especially at the state level, which would be productive for where you live. Ultimately, then, that would be productive for the entire country.” Added Kane while speaking to former WWE star Tyrus. 

While a return to the ring is out of the question, many fans will be intrigued by what the future holds for Kane. The former masked superstar has been one of the most loved mayors has been a positive influence in his area and has won hearts with his work.
