Shapiro was present at the Goldman Sachs Conference, where he made his comments. The TKO President claimed that there's a huge difference between the revenue generated by UFC and WWE. He attributed a major reason behind it to Vince McMahon's strategy of pricing the tickets low to attract more families to watch their shows.

"WWE is not where the UFC is yet on ticket yields. Vince McMahon was pricing tickets for families and wasn't fully focused on maximizing the opportunity. We have our work to do there," said Shapiro in the show, who felt the need to work on WWE's ticket pricing strategy.

He further added that there is an increase in the ticket sales, as it was evident from the second quarter, where a 59% margin was achieved, thanks to site fees and ticket yields. He felt WWE still lagged behind UFC considering the ticket sales and claimed that Dana White's shows were breaking records everywhere, as opposed to the Stamford-based promotion.

"But we've seen a meaningful increase as evidenced by the 59% margin 2nd quarter. Ticket yields and site fees play a big part in driving that. We know we have more room to grow. Why do we know that? Because UFC is breaking records everywhere they go," Shapiro added in his statement.
