Saudi Arabia stands as the frontrunner to host WrestleMania 43 amidst push from London, which would be historic in WWE's history. No WrestleMania till 2025 has taken place outside the USA or Canada's Toronto. As per the reports, WWE is likely to announce Saudi Arabia as the official WrestleMania 43 hosts, marking a new era in the Stamford-based promotion.

PWInsider reported that a press release was issued in Arabic about the hosting rights of WrestleMania 43, which came early than scheduled. The report claimed that Saudi Arabia hosting WrestleMania 43 is legitimiate and WWE might announce it soon.

"A press release was issued in Arabic that Wrestlemania 43 will be held in Saudi Arabia. The press release was taken down shortly after it went out, as it was apparently sent out accidentally before it was scheduled to be issued. However, the story is 100% legitimate and an announcement is coming very soon, bringing Wrestlemania to an international location outside of North America for the first time ever," PWInsider claimed.

Saudi Arabia's history of hosting WWE PLEs

Saudi Arabia is one of the top business partners with WWE and has a deal with the company to have at least one PLE a year. Over the years, the Asian country has hosted PLEs like Crown Jewel and Night of Champions. Its first giant step would be to host Royal Rumble in 2026.

If Saudi successfully manages to host it, its credibility to host a major PLE intensifies. With TKO's vision for WWE, one must not be surprised if Saudi indeed gets to host the first-ever WrestleMania outside of the North America, which would mean London's efforts going in vain.
