'They’re going to remember..' - Jey Uso aims for WrestleMania glory against Gunther

After shocking everyone by winning the 2025 Men's Royal Rumble, Jey Uso qualified to face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther for the championship at WrestleMania 41. However, history has shown that this isn't always the case, even if Royal Rumble winners are guaranteed a berth in the main event. Jey Uso is focused on making his match memorable, regardless of the time it takes place.  

Jey Uso recently talked about his thoughts on his impending WWE World Heavyweight Championship showdown against Gunther at WrestleMania 41 and the prospect of future collaborations with The Rock in an interview with The Daily Mail: "WrestleMania, night one or night two, whichever match I'm on. I don't care if I'm on last; I don't care if I open it up. I'm going to go out there, and they're going to remember my match, so that's all I'm focused on," he said. 

During the aftermath of Elimination Chamber, when Jey Uso appeared back in WWE RAW, Gunther attacked Jey Uso. This led to Jey Uso announcing Gunther as his opponent for the WWE World Heavyweight title shot.  Jey has chosen to compete against Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 41 on April 19 and 20 after considering Cody Rhodes and Gunther.

He treats this as his greatest moment to date because he knows that possibilities like this don't come around very often. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I'm approaching it that way because I don't think this will ever come up again in my career. WWE has not yet confirmed the match order on either night of WrestleMania 41, which is quickly approaching.

Jey Uso wants to face The Rock

The Rock, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns are undoubtedly in the spotlight, but Uso's bout with Gunther might be the unexpected event that steals the weekend. Jey said he would like to fight The Rock because he believes he could bring a new level of intensity to the story, especially in a promotional battle. Because of the Rock's significant position in WWE's current storylines, fans might see a family-driven conflict between him and Jey Uso in the future.
