The Great Khali makes his film debut in a Punjabi Sci-fi

The Great Khali is all set to make his film debut. the WWE Hall of Famer will be featured in a Punjabi movie named 'Raduaa Returns'. The release date for the movie is out. The fans can get to see the mighty wrestler in action later this year. It will be a first of its first-of-its-kind movie for Pollywood as an attempt has been made to produce a Sci-fi movie.

The announcement of the movie featuring The Great Khali happened way back in 2018. However, due to many reasons, the movie could not hit the floors as soon as the team expected it to. The movie will be released worldwide on the 22nd of November 2024.

The WWE Superstar and the lead actor of the movie took to Instagram and came up with a post to confirm the release date of the movie. "A journey through time…Mark your calendars! Raduaa Returns is coming to cinemas on November 22, 2024. Get ready for the thrill!" read the caption of the post.

'Raduaa Returns' is a blend of past and future

The majority of the movie has been shot in Punjab's Khanpur and Samrala. The music for the Indian movie is given by Anup Kumar. Nav Bajwa Films & Outline Productions has been responsible for the production of the movie. It is directed by Nav Bajwa and is set in the period 1955 and 2255.

The lead actor of the movie is Gurpreet Ghugi. To promote the movie, he appeared in one of the interviews. When asked about the concept of the movie, he claimed it to be a blend of the past and the future times. Ghugi claimed the movie to be interesting as he was fascinated by the history of Punjab himself. 

"Lately, I have been enjoying playing characters that are set in history. Fortunately, Raduaa Returns is set in both past and future, which makes it all the more interesting. I am excited to improvise the script and make it funnier," said Ghugi. The movie has a blend of action and comedy.
