The Great Khali is one of the most popular wrestlers in the world. The mighty wrestler was inducted into the WWE Hall of Famer in 2021. He was the first Indian wrestler to be a world champion in WWE. However, the star wrestler's childhood was not easy. He had a lot of difficulties growing up, especially with his education and financial situation.

The Great Khali was born on the 27th of August in 1972 in a village named Dhiraina of Sirmaur in the state of Himachal Pradesh in India. Khali used to go to a school where he faced a lot of problems. Khali struggled in reading and writing the Hindi alphabet. In 1979, at the age of eight, Khali was studying second standard. The Indian wrestler's parents found it hard to pay his school fees.

At the age of 8, Khali was already over 5 feet tall. His parents found it hard to pay an annual fee of INR 2.50. To make the case worse, Dalip Singh Rana's school teacher abused him for not paying fees. Hence, Khali was forced to leave school and he never had any formal education from that point in life. The WWE Superstar joined his first job at the tender age of 8.
