WATCH: Stephanie Vaquer beats Giulia to become NXT Women's Champion and NXT Women's North American Champion at NXT RoadBlock

Stephanie Vaquer overcame Giulia in a Champion vs Champion title for title match at NXT Roadblock. She became the new NXT Women's Champion and the NXT Women's North American Champion. Steph delivered back-to-back Package Back breakers and claimed a win via pinfall over the Beautiful Madness. Giulia was sad about her loss but was happy for her friend's win.

Giulia won the NXT Women's Championship after beating Roxanne Perez at WWE NXT's CW Premiere. She held on to the title for over 2 months. On the other hand, Vaquer overcame Falon Henley on WWE NXT a few weeks ago to become the new NXT Women's North American Champion. After Vaquer's win, Giulia challenged her friend for a match.

The duo wanted to see who among them was the better wrestler. Hence, their match was confirmed to take place at NXT Roadblock with both titles on the line. The match between the two was great, despite the duo not getting a lot of time to wrestle. Fans loved their short and crisp match.

Stephanie Vaquer becomes double champion on WWE NXT

Steph dominated the match for the most part and was the most impressive of the two. It was only their second official match after their faceoff in Stardom. The match had some great spots, including Steph's cross-body from the top of the apron through the ringside. Giulia was just trying to hang in the ring for a few minutes.

Vaquer had a great momentum and continued it for the rest of the match. While Giulia made a decent comeback, it was not enough to get over her friend. With each passing minute, Vaquer started to get stronger. Fans rooted for both the wrestlers and cheered them equally.

Towards the end of the match, Stephanie had total control over her opponent. She delivered back-to-back Package Back breakers and claimed a win via pinfall to become a double champion. The celebration began in the arena, and Giulia was genuinely happy for her friend despite losing the NXT Championship.
