Megan Bayne returned to AEW Dynamite for the first time in 18 months and took part in the Casino Gauntlet match. Mariah May was shocked to see given how she has elevated herself as a wrestler in Stardom. Megan went toe-to-toe against the likes of Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Toni Storm, and others after surprising May.
As the music of Megan hit, everyone in the arena wondered who it was before her name appeared on the big screen. May was in absolute shock to see her. She asked the commentators how Megan was in the arena when her name was not even advertised for the card. Commentators replied saying it did not matter.

The aura of the emerging star was felt in the arena. Statlander looked at an improved version of Bayne. The star wrestler entered the match and delivered a good performance. While she could not win the match, the Stardom wrestler made an impact with her performance and proved to be the future.
Megan Bayne's past in AEW
Bayne was in AEW from 2021 to 2022 before picking up an ACL injury. Her return did not see any major developments and had to be eventually sidelined by the company in 2023. Megan went to Stardom where she got a better exposure. She has been one of the emerging stars in the company.
Her work in Stardom has caught the attention of many. It was one of the main reasons to throw her into the Casino Gauntlet match. It might be an experiment to see how she goes against some of the best wrestlers in the world. The experiment was successful to say the least.
It could be a sign of big things to follow her. Megan might regularly feature on AEW Dynamite in the upcoming weeks. If Marian's reaction is anything to go by, she could well have a shot at the world title. From being sidelined by the management to being picked by themselves, it has been quite a journey for Bayne.
