Sami Zayn spoke about his chances of becoming the world champion in WWE. The Montreal's own was in an interview where he compared the company under Triple H and Vince McMahon. In the process, he spoke about potentially becoming a world champion under Triple H.
Zayn has won multiple titles in WWE. Be it the tag team, the Intercontinental Championship, or the NXT Championship. However, one glory has eluded him in the ring so far - The World Championship. He has not competed for the world title very often in recent times, barring the match against Roman Reigns in Elimination Chamber 2023.
Zayn felt that his chances of becoming a world champion under Triple H were lesser than that under Vince. Sami claimed that Vince McMahon saw a heel character in him for various reasons. The IC Champion claimed that he was regarded as irksome by Vince.
He added that things were unpredictable in the Vince era due to the week-to-week approach. Sami felt that if the fans connected with the character and there were the right responses or demands from the fans, there was a good chance of becoming the world champion.

Sami then spoke about the approach of Hunter. The Canadian wrestler felt that the approach of Triple H was more about a long-term storyline. Sami felt that if an individual is not a part of the vision, then the chances of him/her becoming the champion are slimmer compared to that of Vince.
"With Hunter, I think it's much more he has longer-term vision, and if you're not part of that vision, then the chances of breaking into that vision are much, much slimmer," said Zayn in the interview. His observation might be true, as there were a lot of champions whose reigns were cut shorter than expected.
Under Triple H, many wrestlers have managed to hold on to their titles for a long time. For example, Gunther, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns were all unbeaten in 2023 as champions. Even Logan Paul has got a longer run as the United States Champion.
