Shawn Michaels in 1995, Mr McMahon in 1999, Chris Benoit in 2004, Rey Mysterio in 2006, and Edge in 2021 won Royal Rumble by starting the match as first or second entrants.
Gunther in 2023 spent 1 hour, 11 minutes, and 40 seconds in the Men's Royal Rumble match, the most for a wrestler in a single edition of the Royal Rumble. In 2021, the Men's Royal Rumble had 41 entrants, the most in a single edition of the Royal Rumble. It was the only edition that had more than 40 participants.
