Jimmy Uso was visibly angry as Kevin Owens wore his wife Naomi's merchandise to fight him on WWE Smackdown. KO repeatedly took a jibe at Matthew McConaughey during the match. The former world champion beat Jimmy to claim a win via pinfall and went for a Package Piledriver through the announce table. Cody Rhodes came to his assistance and had a brawl with KO.

Cody started the night and was interviewed by Joe Tessitore ahead of his contract signing on Saturday Night's Main Event. It did not go well with Owens as he was not interviewed by anyone. Hence, he came to the arena and yelled at Tessitore. McConaughey watched the segment with disapproval on his face.

KO asked the Oscar-winning actor his opinion on the result of the Royal Rumble match between him and Cody. As McConaughey booed him, KO claimed he would beat Cody just like the former's son-in-law was beaten. In came Jimmy and attacked Kevin claiming the latter talked a bit too much.

It led to the main event of the night which saw the match between Jimmy and Kevin. It was a good match and both the wrestlers gave a good performance. During the match, KO took a jibe at McConaughey on multiple instances. However, Jimmy attacked him in each instance and made it seem like a battle of equals.

Before the match, Jimmy had a backstage confrontation with Carmelo Hayes and teased him. Hence, Hayes attacked Jimmy during his entrance. As KO entered the arena, an already angry Jimmy had a bigger reason to be angry as the former entered the match by wearing his wife Naomi's merchandise.

KO had the last laugh in the match as he overcame Jimmy by delivering a powerbomb to claim a win via pinfall. Owens tried to deliver a Package Piledriver through the announcer's table. But Cody came right in time and had a brawl with Owens. On Saturday Night's Main event, the duo will sign the contract for their Royal Rumble match.
