Roman Reigns was in an interview where he was asked about John Cena claiming him to be the GOAT of WWE. Roman credited Paul Heyman and his team for ensuring the rise in business and felt the concept of GOAT varies from one individual to the other. He appreciated the fact that John called him the GOAT knowing what it takes to be the top guy for a long time.
Roman wished he could say he was the Taylor Swift in the middle but decided to give his team the flowers. He felt the Wiseman and the entire team were responsible for him being regarded as the GOAT. He felt it was one such situation where he did not want to ask for the credits.
Roman Reigns regarded that the term GOAT is subjective and felt if about 60 people were claiming him to be the GOAT, two others would name The Undertaker to be the GOAT. He asked if it is difficult to argue with the people who claim the American Badass to be the GOAT. But he believed it to be the beauty of WWE.
'I guess I'm just going to agree with him' - Roman Reigns on John Cena's statement.
"At the end of the day, it's subjective. There are some objective metrics involved that we can measure. If there's 60 people over here that are like, 'No, Roman Reigns is the GOAT.' Then there's two people who go, 'No way. The Undertaker is the Greatest of All Time.'," said Roman.
He claimed that as far as the work goes the wrestlers are appreciated by the fans, and everything else is fine and falls in place. He felt every individual had the right to claim himself to be the GOAT according to themselves. He then felt that the claim of John Cena was strong as Roman's numbers were up there in the business viewpoint.
"As far as what John said, I kind of witnessed and observed his early reign as WWE's top guy and face of the company. Nobody knows better about everything that it takes to get to that point and be in that conversation. I guess I'm just going to agree with him," added Roman.
