Roman Reigns made up his mind to acknowledge Solo Sikoa on WWE Smackdown. The OTC felt it was probably the best way to stop the war between him and Solo. As Roman could not convince Jey Uso to be on his side, he did not find a better way to confront Solo. The fans and commentators were surprised with Roman's decision.
Roman got a chance to meet Jey on WWE Smackdown. The OTC could not help but appreciate Jey for his achievements after leaving the Bloodline. As he claimed to be proud of the younger Uso, it seemed like the IC Champion cared little about it. He said "No yeet" and moved out of the arena.

Roman was lost in his thoughts in the locker room. Jimmy Uso scared the hell out of him in order to relax the OTC. As Roman got scared and asked why Jimmy sat aside him similar to the way Wiseman used to, the former tag team champion claimed he wanted to relex the OTC.
Roman Reigns' big decision on WWE Smackdown
Jimmy said they were making a good progress towards convinving Jey to help them. However, Roman Reigns felt otherwise. He claimed to have tried convinving Jey to assist him. However, Reigns asserted that Jey had made his mind and decided to not assist them. Jimmy agreed to what Roman had to say.
The star wrestler asked what plan Roman had to confront Solo. The OTC felt the only way to end the differences between him and Solo Sikoa was to ackowledge him. The massive statement from Roman surprised Jimmy and the commentators. The fans were sjocked to hear what Reigns had to say.
Roman probably saw what Solo and Jey had to say to each other earlier in the night. He probably heard Solo's motive was to unite the Bloodline, not divide them. He probably thought acknowledging Solo was enough to stop the differences between the two sides. Little did he know that Sikoa wanted to be accepted as Roman's Tribal Chief.
