Rohit Sharma recreated the celebration of Ric Flair after winning the T20 World Cup 2024. The Indian captain celebrated the win in a similar way the Nature Boy used to after winning a match or a title. In fact, it was similar to the way Lionel Messi celebrated after winning the FIFA World Cup 2022. Flair used to stretch both his arms and acknowledge the crowd before holding a title.

The likes of Rohit and Lionel Messi did the same before lifting the trophy. In fact, the way the duo of Messi and Sharma held on to the title was similar to the way Flair held on to a belt. The fans have recognized it and let the users know on the internet. After India won the major tournament, it has gone viral. 

The match between India and South Africa turned out to be great. Opting to bat first, India managed to score 176 runs on the back of good batting performances from Virat Kohli, Axar Patel, and Shivam Dube. Indian bowlers started well but were beaten in the middle overs by Tristan Stubbs, Quinton De Kock, and Heinrich Klaasen. But the exceptional comeback from the Indian pacers helped the 2007 champions to win their second title by a margin of 7 runs.
