Rob Van Dam, Damian Priest, Gunther, Vickie Guerrero, and several other current and past legends of the company attended the season premiere of Friday Night Smackdown. The latest episode of the blue brand witnessed some of the top stars of the company in the stands along with the fans. It was good to see so many guests attending the new look for the blue brand.
Rob Van Dam was the first to be recognized by the cameraman. The former ECW star was in the arena along with his wife. Soon after it, the focus went towards Vickie Guerrero who got a loud pop from the fans. She was one of the top heels of the blue brand in the Ruthless Aggression Era.
Backstage on Smackdown, she had a little segment with Chelsea Green as well. Gunther also showed up for the show but was welcomed with boos from the fans. In the middle of the show, Michael P.S. Hayes popped up. He is one of the WWE Hall of Famers.
Smackdown's Season Premiere lives up to the expectations
The focus then went on Sheamus who was a part of the season premiere of Raw. After having a commentary stint in an NFL game, the Celtic Warrior was in good spirits. William Regal, who was one of the best stars of the Ruthless Aggression Era, was also in the house.
Ron Simmons, one of the top stars of the Attitude Era was also in the hall. He was alongside Teddy Long, a former GM of Smackdown. The duo received a thunderous pop from the fans. One of the top stars of the company, Damian Priest, also showed up in the season premiere of the blue brand
Bobby Roode was also in the arena and got a good pop from the fans. The season premiere of Smackdown lived up to the expectations with several good moments. It turned out to be the best episode of Smackdown since WrestleMania XL. The fans were happy to see and interact with several legends.
