Ric Flair took to X and congratulated John Cena on his record 17th world title win. The Nature Boy felt it was only a matter of time credited where Cena and Cody Rhodes are putting on a show. The 16-time world champion's congratulations contradicted his statement when Cena turned heel, where he claimed to stop Cena from winning his 17th world title at all costs.

However, Flair was not happy with Cena who turned heel against Cody at the Elimination Chamber. After Cena's act, Ric took to X and criticised his move. He vowed to fight his way through the security guards to get in the ring and do everything required to stop him from winning his 17th world title.

Ric Flair's U-turn to praise John Cena's 17th World title win

"Let’s Get Serious! John Cena, I Love You And Respect You, But You Ain’t Taking Nothing From Cody Rhodes! If I Have To Fight My Way Through Security To Hit The Ring, I Will. I’ll Take The Day Off Of Blood Thinners. LFG! Let’s Do This!" wrote Ric Flair on X after Cena's heel turn.

It seems like Flair just wanted to spice up a bit of the feud between Cody and Cena with his statement. After Cena surpassed him, Flair showered his love and respect for the Leader of the Cenation Army. Fans took to X and praised Flair's decision to give Cena his flowers.

In WWE, Cena is the first Superstar to win 17 world titles. Flair was the first to win 16 world titles. Apart from them, Triple H and Randy Orton jointly have a total of 14 world titles to their name. Hulk Hogan had 12 world titles to his name.
